Real Estate Assistant

What We Seek :

The Real Estate Assistant will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks:

  • Respond in a timely manner to all property showing request emails, phone calls and schedule all appointments for the leasing team.

  • Take all phone calls and respond to voicemails.

  • Assist the sales team with admin tasks.

  • Follow up with leads and transfer to the appropriate team.

  • Enter property information, tenant and owner information, and other related data into the Property Management portal.

  • Review tenant application forms by calling references and following a detailed application approval process.

  • Assist in posting relevant and valuable posts on social media platforms including video and live posts from community events.

  • Organize, file, scan, email and other admin related tasks.

  • Respond to a variety of emails from clients, tenants and vendors while effectively following up and completing inquiries.

  • Show properties and conduct inspections as needed (requires a license)

  • Assist with creative content for website and social media.

Whom We Want :

This role offers diversity and variety in tasks. It requires someone who is flexible and passionate about Calgary Real Estate. Someone who wants to take a journey into the unknown with curiosity and a sense of adventure.

  • A passion for the Calgary real estate environment and the ability to work with little supervision

  • 1+ years work experience in real estate or customer service industries.

  • College or University student looking for part-time work (business or related field of study) but not required

  • Personable and friendly (just like us) with strong oral and written skills. If you can draw, that’s a bonus because we cannot.

  • Social media savvy (Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, and the other ones…) If you have a selfie stick, we won’t judge you either.

  • Organizational skills is a must. Super must.

  • A positive attitude and desire to grow with a small but mighty and highly impactful company

  • Valid drivers license and vehicle required

  • Ability to adapt and provide support in a fast-pace, client focused environment

  • Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel) is a must.

  • Creative and big picture candidates who are not afraid to jump in,  offer assistance and tell us good jokes.

  • Real Estate Associate Certificate or Licensed Real Estate agents are preferred but not required.
